Closed Alpha Announced for The Culling

Gamers wanting to try something new may just find their itch being scratched with a free Closed Alpha for a newly revealed battle royale game, ‘The Culling’ from Xaviant.

Redefining the battle royale genre, The Culling is a standalone and completely focused experience that delivers adrenaline-filled thrills and a competitive arena for players to duke it out in the name of glory and survival.

And now players can sign up now to jump into the mayhem early. Later this month a select number of participants will be able to plan, craft, and kill their way to the top as they fight for survival and help shape the game with valuable feedback.

The new game offers the opportunity for gamers to jump into a remote island paradise, join a 16-player battle for supremacy and explore, scavenge items, craft weapons as well as build traps that will enable them to slay fellow contestants and emerge victorious before the end of the round.

“Launching a Closed Alpha will allow the community to have an active role in The Culling’s development.” said Michael McMain, Founder and CEO of Xaviant. “The feedback gathered from the test will ensure that we are able to deliver the reliable and balanced experienced our players deserve.”

Xaviant feels, unlike add-on modes in open-world survival games, The Culling redefines the battle royale genre by providing a tightly focused stand-alone experience that delivers incredible thrills and a competitive arena for players to duke it out.

‘Only one will be crowned the winner’, they note.

Interested gamers can register for a chance to participate in The Culling Closed Alpha. Alternatively, ‘The Culling’ will be available for $14.99/€14.99/£10.99 on Steam Early Access, and a 10% discount will be offered to players who purchase the game from March 8 to March 14.
