Mystery, Marketing Campaign And Possible New WW2 Game

A short video, countdown clock and subscribing for more information, could this be all the cool stuff that make up a great marketing campaign for the latest online multiplayer game?

Gaijin Entertainment, developer and publisher behind the MMO hit War Thunder, released a short video today featuring WW2 infantry combat with live actors in heated city combat. Nothing more is said about the trailer or possible game on either the youtube channel or the press release that pointed NBPCG to the video.

At the time of publishing our article, the video has 6,654 views and a total of 339 comments (sort of) speculating on the trailer and possible game. While we won't go through and count, in typical trolling fashion many comments criticized the believability of the trailer, forgetting it seems that it is by nature a promotional tool and not a two minute documentary.

As mentioned, the clip invites viewers to visit and subscribe to the newsletter at enlisted.net, where they promise to reveal more on Monday, December 12th.     

That leaves us with sixty-six hours to wait as of the time of publishing our piece.
